Riverbell Studio

A compact studio tucked into a narrow lane above a bookseller's shop. Small in size, generous in silence with a single arched window that frames the river like a painting.

The neighbourhood

This is the oldest part of Kashi. The lanes are narrower, the walls older, and the sound of the funeral bells at Manikarnika is a quiet, constant reminder of what this city is really about.

A day here

Read by the window in the morning, wander to the burning ghats when you feel called, and end the day at a small kirtan hall three lanes over. We can arrange a philosophy student to walk with you if you want a companion for the ghats.
